There is something magical about August in Tofino, fogust.

Surrounded by towering trees and lush coastal gardens, Lindsay and Justin gathered their closest friends and family at the Tofino Botanical Gardens for the weekend to celebrate their wedding. It was intimate and beautifully grounded in the people who matter most.

The day unfolded beneath the forest canopy, where laughter carried through the trees and every moment thoughtfully planned to mesh with the landscape around them. Following the ceremony, guests wandered together along a forest trail, sharing toasts among the moss-covered cedars. What stood out most was the overwhelming sense of love. Not only between Lindsay and Justin, but among the family and friends who had travelled to be there. Every embrace lingered a little longer, every toast carried genuine meaning, and every part of the day felt intentionally shared.

As if the weekend wasn’t already beautiful enough, we met again the following morning for a quiet sunrise beach session. Blanketed in thick coastal fog, transforming the shoreline into something dreamlike. The tide left behind a mirror of still water across the sand, creating endless reflections that blurred the line between ocean and sky.

Wrapped in the softest light, Lindsay and Justin wandered through the mist together while the world around them seemed to disappear. Having this time together to look back on the day celebrated before.
